CALL FOR PAPERS
New forms of work and work ecosystems penetrate our everyday life in pace with increasing digitalization. Ingredients for better or worse workplaces, work satisfaction and productivity are available, what happens depends on our understanding on the options, and on our willingness to act. Digital workplaces need well-educated workforce, and education becomes a cornerstone of workplace productivity even more than before in digital environments. Telework is well equipped to answer to the demands of current labour markets with simultaneous dimensions of sustainability and flexibility.
Paper are accepted in two categories:
-full academic papers with 4000-6000 words
-short position papers, even with practical focus, with maximum 2500 words
Topics for the conference include but are not restricted to the following:
•Telework trends and statistics
•Socially responsible for sustainable work environment development
•Innovation, education, intellectual capital and telework
•Inclusion and fighting of exclusion and society segregation through new work arrangement
•Telecommuting and comprehensive organizational development: the company in the future
•Environmental impacts of telework
•Challenges of digitalization for telework
•New technical solutions for telework
•Security challenges of telework
•Telework in life management

All accepted papers will be published in Turku Centre for Computer Science (TUCS) General Publications series (see http://www.tucs.fi/publications/series/general-publications/). In addition discussions to prepare a special issue to some academic journal with 5-7 best conference papers are under way.

Registration fee 300 € is to be paid by 30.8.2017
Accompanying person: 100€PRACTIC
The conference will take part in low-season tourist time.
Cheap hotel accommodation is richly available through normal hotel reservation systems.
All hotels in Turku City center are within walking distance from the conference venue.
